Nearly three quarters of people (72%) are more likely to make a future purchase from an SMB after they follow or interact with the business on Twitter, according to a recent report by Market Probe International and Twitter.

About the research: The report was based on data from an online survey fielded May 9-12, 2013 to 500 Twitter users in the US and UK. Respondents were screened to make sure they were 18 or older and to verify that they were a follower of an SMB.
